Prior to launching JF HR Solutions, Jennifer’s career included various roles in human resources, compensation and total rewards management. She has supported corporate headquarters to field offices, performing both generalist and total rewards specialist functions. Jennifer’s ability to master and maneuver the ever-evolving legislative and workforce landscape and clearly break it down for others to understand, allows her to support the work of a variety of people, while fostering lasting professional relationships.
Most of her expertise was honed through the challenging corporate realities of restructuring and acquisition growth, in both Canada and the U.S. Throughout her career, Jennifer has had the opportunity to adapt her expertise to add value in an eclectic group of business sectors, from the public service to facility management, to luxury retail to energy services. Jennifer has often been praised for her unique ability to assess and understand the connections between different business units and stakeholders, and the impact that business decisions can have across the organization. She is also known for her strong analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.
Today, she is happy to continue expanding her horizons, supporting clients across a broad range of industries, from construction retail to professional services, to non-profits, and beyond.
Jennifer achieved the Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designations in 2007 and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resource Management from Laurentian University.
When she is not busily supporting her clients, Jennifer enjoys getting her hands dirty through gardening, as well as giving back to both her home and professional communities. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the Guelph-Wellington Chapter of The Shoebox Project for Shelters, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Family Counselling & Support Services for Guelph-Wellington.
